Makeup Essentials for this Summer!

Summer is one of the most fun times of the year! Whether you're lounging by the pool, tanning at the beach, lunching at a great new restaurant or sipping cocktails with friends, there's always something to  do and look forward to at the end of a busy work week. To keep you looking fabulous while doing all these things, I've come up with a collection of some of my favourite beauty products that are perfect for the summer months.


Tarte Cosmetics Tartetist Pro Palette 
This palette is one of my favourite additions to my makeup collection. It's versatility and variety is wonderful! If you're going for a neutral everyday look, a glamorous smokey eye, or something bright and metallic, this palette has got you covered. The shadows are pigmented and soft with beautiful neutral brown and beige tones, rich purples and burgundies, and metallic shades, there are so many looks and combinations to create. Nars Cosmetics Liquid Illuminator in Copacabana
This illuminator is perfect for achieving that summer glow! Mix a small amount in with your foundation to achieve a radiant complexion that leaves you with a gorgeous natural looking glow. It's great to use during the day and can add a bit of extra glam to and evening look. It's one of my favourite things to use during the summer to give me that extra bit of confidence and make my skin blowy and radiant.

Revlon Sculpt + Highlight Contour Kit
Having a pale complexion, I find it difficult to find a contour kit that looks natural on my skin and not muddy! This kit has been co-developed with Youtuber, Chloe Morello as is designed to be an easy way of contouring your skin with everything you need being in the one palette. There are two different palettes, one for light to medium skin tones and the other for medium to tan. I use the light to medium one. This kit is great way to get a natural looking glow and contour, perfect for the summer when you want a sun kissed look!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
This is my favourite concealer!!!! Being prone to dark circles under my eyes, this concealer is great for me. It covers up dark circles really well and also give a nice and natural looking highlight to the under eye area. It also works great for any blemishes! Being very fair I have it in the colour Fair Neutral, and it works great when applied with a damp beauty blender, or gently patted in with your finger, and set with powder! I find it doesn't crease through the day and doesn't give a caked appearance.

Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional Face Primer
This primer is a holy grail product! It's great at minimising the appearance of pores so you skin looks silky smooth when you put your foundation over the top. I use it particularly around the nose upper lip and forehead, where my pores are largest, before I apply my foundation and it works wonders! It gives you more confidence that your skin looks great.
